I offer both short and longer term therapy within a safe, quiet and private space to help you work through whatever issues you bring.    I am close to good transport links and free parking.  I also offer counselling online, via telephone or in nature at Kensington Meadows, Bath.

I offer a free 20-minute telephone call, during which we can get a sense of each other and talk about your reasons for seeking counselling and what you'd like to gain from it.

Training

  • Advanced Diploma in Humanistic and Integrative Counselling at Bath Centre for Psychotherapy and Counselling (BCPC) 
  • Foundation Certificate in Counselling and Psychotherapy at BCPC
  • BA Hons, MSc Adult Nursing - 25+ years experience
  • Further training in CBT, neurodiversity, bereavement and trauma

 

Experience

  • (May 2023 - current) - Private Practice, encountering a wide range of concerns including but not restricted to complex grief and loss, anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, stress management, self esteem and identity issues, exploring neurodiversity, LGBTQ+ experiences and disordered eating.  I am open hearted and open minded to whatever you bring.
  • (2023 - 2024) - Focus Counselling in Bath
  • (2021 - 2024) - Mind mental health counselling in Bristol
  • (2021 - 2022) - Cruse Bereavement service in Bath 
  • (1997 - 2024) - NHS intensive care nurse, I have a wealth of experience in supporting people emotionally as well as physically through the most traumatic and challenging times of their life.
