Alexander Smith, Psychotherapist in Bristol , Bath ,

Alexander Smith

I offer weekly slots of one-to-one, in person psychotherapy at Vessel in Old Market, Bristol and BCPC in central Bath.

I believe we all hold our own answers. My role is to help you find yours. I will be led by what you bring and I will draw on the various aspects of my training to strengthen my understanding of you and your situation.

If you feel lost, stuck, or are having thoughts and feelings which may be hard to articulate, or are difficult to talk about with friends or family, I can provide you with the time and space for you to safely explore your inner world.

My aim is for us to build a strong, trusting relationship, which can give you insight into how you relate to yourself and others. This developing self-awareness can be used as a solid foundation for change and growth.

Therapy can give you clarity if you are questioning relationships, work, your sexuality or gender identity. It can also help if you are struggling with depression, anger, low self-esteem, anxiety or grief.

You may be looking to understand yourself on a deeper level or get to grips with something you can’t quite put your finger on.

I have mixed heritage and lived experience as a member of the LGBTQIA+ community . I actively work towards providing an anti-oppressive therapy practice.
