Hello, I'm Eden. I offer low-cost, in-person psychotherapy for adults at The Practice Rooms in Bristol.
I think that people come to therapy for all sorts of reasons, perhaps feeling stuck, facing a change, struggling in a relationship, or simply wanting to know themselves a little better. However it begins, I believe the work can genuinely change how we relate to ourselves and to others, and bring more clarity and meaning to life.
I offer an open space for whatever you bring: your thoughts, your feelings, your relationships, the past you carry with you. My approach is humanistic and integrative, rooted in Carl Rogers' person-centred philosophy, and shaped by attachment theory and psychoanalytic thinking about how our histories live on in us. I trust that you already hold the resources for your own growth. My role is simply to help you find your way back to them.
I'm training at the Bath Centre for Psychotherapy and Counselling (BCPC), and I'm a trainee member of the UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP), working within their ethical framework and in ongoing supervision.
Alongside my work, I'm a therapeutic arts practitioner. I've worked in hospitals using the arts to support recovery and at The Swan Project in Bristol, alongside people navigating addiction.
Sessions are one-to-one, in person, and can be short-term or open-ended.
Fee: £40 per session
If you're wondering whether we might be a good fit, I'm happy to offer a 15-minute call to talk it through.
