I'm an integrative psychotherapist in the final (seventh) year of training. I work with people both privately and in the NHS.
Working at the Harbour (a bereavement charity), in the NHS, and in private practice has taught me that there are many pathways to healing – to feeling safer and better in ourselves and more able to enjoy relationships and life. In our sessions, we'll start from what brings you to therapy. I'll explain how I work and you'll be able to clarify what you hope for.
Among the issues you might bring are
and many others. If you have a diagnosis, that can also be part of our conversations. I am currently part of the Complex Psychological Interventions team in the local NHS and I have experience liaising with NHS care teams. I also have experience working with neurodiversity.

I am a UKCP-registered and fully insured psychotherapist in the final year of training.
From 2017 to 2019 I took modules at the Severnside Institute for Psychotherapy in Bristol. I then completed the Foundation Certificate in Psychotherapy and Counselling at the Bath Centre for Psychotherapy and Counselling in 2020 and have been working toward an MA in Humanistic and Integrative Psychotherapy since then.
From October 2020 to December 2022 I saw clients at the Bristol Harbour, a charity offering counselling for people facing loss, death, and bereavement. From October 2023 to July 2024, I was on placement with the Assessment and Recovery team in the Avon and Wiltshire Mental Health Partnership NHS Trust, mostly working in systemic family therapy. From May 2024 I have been working individually with patients in the Complex Psychological Interventions team.
I also have a career in academia, where for nineteen years I have taught literature, mythology, and philosophy at the University of Bristol.
