Welcome and thank you for visiting my profile.
I’m a fully-qualified, BACP-registered counsellor with experience supporting clients through a wide range of difficulties. I offer a warm, down-to-earth, and compassionate approach, working at your pace and in a way that is respectful of you as a unique individual.
What I can help with
I can support you with a broad range of issues including:
Anxiety and panic
Depression and low mood
Self-esteem and confidence
Stress and burnout
Loss, grief and bereavement
Trauma and childhood trauma
Relationship difficulties
Challenging life transitions
Equally, you might not know exactly what the problem is, but you know that things just don't feel right. Whatever you're struggling with, your experience is valid and we can explore it together.
How I can help
I provide a confidential, non-judgemental space where you can explore your inner and outer worlds, helping you make sense of what's going on for you. This may mean looking beneath the surface of your current concerns to understand the deeper patterns that could be affecting your wellbeing.
I’ll walk alongside you, helping you to safely process difficult emotions, life events, or unresolved issues. I aim to support your emotional resilience while also making space for you to rediscover who you are, beyond the struggle.
Where helpful, I'll offer gentle challenges, new perspectives, psycho-education and tools to empower you in making the changes that feel right for you.
Most importantly, I'll work together with you to build a therapeutic relationship grounded in genuine connection, safety and trust, where you can feel truly seen, heard, understood and accepted for who you are.
My Approach
My approach is integrative, meaning I tailor the therapy to suit your unique needs. This involves drawing upon a number of different counselling models, whilst always putting the client-therapist relationship at the heart of what we do.
My practice is client-led, meaning you decide what we focus on, how fast we go, and the direction our work takes. My role is not to give advice or 'fix' you, but to support your process as you reconnect with your own inner resources and sense of direction.
Working with Me
I offer weekly 50-minute sessions both in person and online on an open-ended basis, to suit your needs and preferences.
I work out of peaceful and comfortable rooms in central Bath and Chippenham.
Next Steps
I offer a free 15-20 introductory phone call to get an initial idea about whether I could be the right counsellor for you.
If it seems that we could be a good match, we will then arrange an initial session to reach a final decision about whether to start working together.
I know it can feel daunting to reach out, but I welcome any enquiries or questions you may have, so please don't hesitate to get in touch.
