Our low cost counselling service aims to increase access to therapy.

Cara Luff, Counsellor in Bristol ,

Cara Luff

I practice an integrative form of counselling which means I can draw from many different approaches depending on what you, the client needs. These can include, person centred, psychodynamic, CBT and compassion focussed. I am particularly interested in how our past influences our present and also how our body speak to us about our feelings, particularly if we have suffered a trauma.

I have worked in depth with trauma, attachment issues, parenting difficulties, relationship problems, anxiety, depression, OCD and panic among many other things and have spent the last 12 years working within mental health services.

The hardest part can be the first step in reaching out. The relationship between the therapist and client is the key to success in therapy and so I offer an initial free 15 minute session online or on the phone to give you a chance to talk to me and ask any questions you may have. From there we can discuss how best to proceed.

I currently have spaces on a Monday and Friday daytime.
