Humanistic and Integrative Psychotherapist
I enjoy working with people who want to deepen their lives and discover the roots of their difficulties and patterns and connect more fully to themselves. I have a particular interest in working to release deeply held beliefs and traumas from the body alongside talking therapy and have worked this way for around 20 years.
During my explorations into helping people cope with and heal emotional pain I began to explore shamanic and ancient traditions. I now also work as a shamanic practioner using sound, the natural world and it's rhythms and journeying ( a form of visualisation while in a deep but aware medative state). I run cacao ceremonies for psychological growth and well being.
I work with all forms of emotional difficulty such as; loss, depression, trauma, anger, anxiety, addictions, divorce and separation, parenting difficulties, sense of self....
I have expertise in the areas of adoption, childhood trauma, and abuse. I occasionally run therapeutic groups for parents of adopted children and children with traumas.
I am very gentle and like to listen and share people's stories and lives.
