Starting counselling is a brave step and can feel daunting. With warmth and without judgement, I offer a safe space where you can explore thoughts, emotions and challenges.
I hold a compassionate, non-judgmental and confidential space for you to explore the things troubling you. I am a qualified 'person centered' counsellor able to draw upon a range of theories and approaches and tailor therapy to suit. My aim is to meet you where you're at and to help you feel comfortable to open up at your own pace.
As well as working in private practice I have been involved with working for four and a half years with a local youth charity, counselling 18-25 year olds (mostly university students) but also work with adults of all ages.
I can help with various issues including depression, anxiety, bereavement, childhood issues, family and relationship issues, trauma and abuse, eating disorders, intrusive thoughts, weight and health issues, and neurodivergence among others. I have a special interest in ADHD.
As a registered member with The British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy I abide by their code of ethics.
My practice is in person in central Bath and online and I offer counselling on a short or long term basis. Please reach out if you feel that I may be able to help you.
