Amanda Falconer Counselling
Time for you…..
People can find themselves coming to counselling for a variety of reasons. Perhaps they are in crisis due to life events, or they feel their usual coping strategies aren't working anymore or maybe they just feel ill at ease with themselves and unsure what it’s all about.
I do my utmost to provide a safe, calm, confidential space for you to explore all of who you are, without judgement, and experience how it feels to be fully heard and acknowledged. I believe in supporting you to get to know yourself better and to discover your own ways forward.
Talking and being heard by a warm, welcoming, empathic other who is committed to truly “getting” you, helps.
Life can be challenging and even the most resourceful among us need support from time to time. In the busyness of day to day living it is easy to get lost, lose sight of who we are or what’s important to us. Life events, such as relationship breakup, divorce, losing one’s job, illness or bereavement can feel shocking, overwhelming and difficult to cope with. You don’t need to do it on your own.
The first step is to find time and space for you, where you can slow down, breathe and connect to yourself, your own inner knowing. Each of us is unique and deserves respect, understanding and compassion. I will meet you with warmth and acceptance whatever is happening for you and together we can explore and gain insights into your situation and concerns.
Even the most resourceful among us need support from time to time. I currently offer online counselling and will restart in person sessions shortly.
