There are times when our lives can feel unmanageable, overwhelming or don’t seem to make sense; there are times when we all need someone to talk to. Finding a therapist can be a daunting task - I understand it can seem like a leap of faith.
As a trainee psychotherapist at BCPC in integrative and humanistic psychotherapy, I work relationally offering a safe, warm and empathic space for you to explore your feelings and life experiences with me, so that, together, you can make sense of where you are and how your life has unfolded. I believe that emotional healing requires a holistic approach supporting mind, body and spirit but there is no one size that fits all; my training and experience enables me to form a unique relationship with every client and work in a way that meets your individual needs.
As our relationship is central to our work together, it is important that you have the chance to meet with me to see if you feel comfortable talking openly to me. I offer an introductory first session at my base rate (see below) with no commitment to continue. I work from a peaceful and secluded space in the centre of Bath, a short walk from Bath Abbey.
Alongside my private practice, I have worked as a volunteer therapist on the Trauma & Relational Counselling Programme at the Children & Family Centre in Bath and on mental health helplines. I have experience with trauma, PTSD, grief, substance misuse, domestic abuse, anxiety disorders, relationship issues, gender identity and neurodiversity challenges including autism and ADHD - and I welcome any struggles you may be facing. Before training as. a therapist, I worked and lived in a range of industries and cultures which has given me a breadth of life experience and I am interested in working pan-gender and cross-culturally.
My prices are currently set at £30 per 50 minute session.
