Valerie Gajewski

I am an Integrative Relational Psychotherapist and provide both long & short term therapy. 

I usually see clients face to face. Currently I am using Zoom and or willing to do phone sessions. 

I am a UKCP qualified psychotherapist and have had a private practice for over twenty years. I previously worked as a Senior Therapist at The Green House, specialising in rape and sexual abuse. Plus prior experience of seeing clients for The Trauma Foundation South West. 

Before embarking on a career in psychotherapy I worked with a diverse range of organisations within the third sector. Working for Women's Aid, people with mental health difficulties, people with HIV and lastly Asylum Seekers & Refugees. I have a particular interest in working with diversity and the impact this has on a sense of self and belonging. I am especially interested in working with trauma and attachment issues.

I have an MA & Diploma in Integrative & Humanistic Psychotherapy.

I am accredited and registered with UKCP.

I studied with BCPC and am a member of BCPC & UKCP.

Supervision training with CPD.

I have completed 10 years of personal & professional training in Gestalt Therapy.

I also have a Diploma in Community and Youth Work.
