Why train with BCPC?

With over 40 years of teaching expertise behind us, BCPC is widely recognised as a centre of excellence in Counselling and Psychotherapy training in the South West. 

Our training pathway has emerged out of our psychotherapeutic roots, which means we offer a depth approach, underpinned by a deep commitment to personal process and the importance of the relationship in therapeutic practice. 

As a student here you’ll be committing to an in-person, embodied and experiential training programme that few people emerge from quite the same as they began. You’ll work closely with a group of equally committed fellow students under the guidance of two experienced tutors - both practicing Counsellors or Psychotherapists with a wealth of clinical experience.

Your training will be both academically robust and rooted in best clinical practice. To support your learning, you’ll be required to be in counselling or psychotherapy throughout your time with us. And once you graduate you will be fully qualified for your future career.

Most importantly, you will become personally known by us during your training journey and encouraged and supported to become the Counsellor or Psychotherapist that you want to be. 

Our training courses are accredited by BACP and UKCP who are the two main accrediting bodies in the UK.
