Silke Kuball
Individual Psychotherapy specialising on working with symptoms of trauma including complex grief and attachment issues. All of my work is currently taking place online.
I work in private practice focusing on the treatment of trauma and trauma related symptoms including complex grief, anxiety, depression and attachment issues.
I have worked in private practice since 2008 and - trained as an Integrative Psychotherapist with bcpc - have been working within a person centered and relational model. My greatest interest has always been in working with people who have experienced trauma and for whom the effects of trauma continue to haunt their everyday lives. This can take many forms affecting mind, body and spirit.
In 2020 I began to actively move towards working in a more specialised way with trauma. I started to be involved in the Oxford Development Centre and have had the great privilege of learning with and from them since then. I have actively trained in specialist modalities such as CRM and Somatic Trauma Processing as well as EMDR and IFS.
I believe that trauma is at the core of many of the issues we face in these times, showing itself in a widespread dissociation from our core selves, from other people, from nature, from the flow of life around us. This causes a pain and emptiness that can feel unbearable. An important part of this work is to help you understand your nervous system and how to come back to a more grounded place in yourself from which processing of difficult experiences then becomes possible.
