Integrative psychotherapeutic counselling for adult individuals online

I offer long- and short-term counselling to individuals over the age of 18, by phone and online video conferencing.

I offer a gentle, supportive, non-judgemental environment to explore your feelings and problems at your own pace — but I won't just listen and nod; expect honest reflection and other perspectives too. Together we can explore your life and behaviour patterns, how these may have stemmed from past experience, and discover new ways to relate to the world.

I have a particular interest in working with people who are used to holding things together for other people, and often find it harder to do that for themselves (for example, business leaders, those caring for others, and those working in helping professions). 

Before training as a therapist, I spent many years working as a veterinary surgeon. That shaped how I understand high-pressure, high-responsibility work, and gave me a close understanding of pet loss, which I'm glad to support people through. I also run a separate practice, Vetamorphosis, dedicated specifically to veterinary professionals.

I'm dual-qualified as a counsellor and coach, so alongside psychotherapeutic counselling, I also offer therapeutic coaching for those wanting a more future-focused, goal-oriented space.

I trained with Bath Centre for Counselling and Psychotherapy and received my Diploma in Humanistic and Integrative Counselling with Distinction. This is a dual accredited BACP and UKCP course. I am a registered member of UKCP and abide by the UKCP Ethical Framework. I am also a qualified Level 5 coach, and can integrate these skills into my practice.
