Further Information

I qualified as a Humanistic and Integrative Counsellor at Bath Centre for Psychotherapy & Counselling (BCPC).

I work at Weston college and see clients who wish to address self-harm, suicidal thoughts, unresolved grief, addiction, family difficulties, relationship issues, low self-esteem, anxiety, bereavement and trauma.   I have experience of counselling adults with fertility, loss, and pregnancy issues. Depending on what you seek, I can provide short-term or long-term work together.  My approach is eclectic.  By that I mean I don't hold rigidly to any specific theory basis but instead I use my experience of you.  This assists me with gaining an insight into your dilemma and how you deal with this.     I am passionately drawn to how our body energy is affecting any health issue.  I have a strong holistic approach, being aware of the link between our mind and body.  Being spiritually awake and fascinated by people and their behaviour, I treat every human being individually.   My practice influences and encourages this acceptance of self and others too. It is my understanding that as human being we are all connected. We all have our flaws and insecurities, whether we acknowledge them or not. The insecurities may be as a result of abuse or neglect. However, we can shed light on these things that keep us stuck and or feeling ashamed. Indeed we can change our beliefs - about ourselves and others - as we become aware of their groundings and whether they are useful or not to our well being. I work in an integrative and holistic way. Simply,Integrative means that I work with my intuition and body awareness to support you in finding your way through your difficulties and finding your own answers.  I am interested in what you bring could represent any unresolved issues from your past that are affecting your quality of life in the present.  Humanistic means that my primary focus is on being with you, the client, as a human being, responding to what you uniquely bring, and supporting you to find your own way forward.
