About

Psychotherapy for adults in central Bath, offering a warm, relational and flexible approach.

Further Information

People come to therapy for many different reasons. You may be struggling with anxiety, relationships, loss or self-worth, feeling stuck or overwhelmed, or simply have a sense that something in your life isn’t quite right. You may recognise patterns that keep repeating but find them difficult to change, or want to understand yourself and your relationships more deeply.

My way of working is warm, relational and down to earth. I don’t believe there is one way of doing therapy that works for everyone. I work integratively, drawing on different therapeutic approaches depending on you and what you bring, while keeping the relationship between us at the heart of the work.

I will listen carefully, but I will also be curious, think with you and, when it feels helpful, offer my thoughts and observations. We might think about experiences from your past and how they continue to shape you, what is happening in your life and relationships now, or patterns and feelings that are difficult to understand or change.

You don’t need to arrive knowing exactly what you want to talk about or what you want to change. Part of our work can be making sense of that together.

Sessions are 50 minutes long and my fee is £55 per session. I see clients at my therapy room at 3 Chapel Row in central Bath. The room is well located for public transport, with some free parking nearby. Please note that the room is upstairs and does not have step-free access.

Training

I am in the final stage of a six-year MA in Humanistic and Integrative Psychotherapy at the Bath Centre for Psychotherapy and Counselling (BCPC), and have been working with clients in private practice for over four years.

Before beginning my psychotherapy training, I worked as a lawyer and later moved into mental health. I have experience working therapeutically in private practice, charitable and community settings, including trauma counselling with mothers and families through Bath Children’s Centres.

+ I am a UKCP trainee member and my clinical work is professionally supervised.
