Seeing clients in Bedminster, South Bristol
Hello, I’m Fuchsia.
My approach
Is relational and collaborative, meaning I bring warmth, care and fellow humanity to our meetings. We’ll tailor our sessions to what you want to explore in a way that feels accessible to you. We might start with your current situation or a past experience. Wherever we begin, we’ll go at your pace.
My Background
I have been working as a psychotherapist in private practice since January 2023. From 2021 to 2022, I volunteered as a psychotherapist with a Bristol-based drug and alcohol therapy service.
My therapy practice is grounded in nearly 25 years of extensive work with people from all walks of life in community mental health roles, providing support and advocacy, particularly for individuals and communities affected by exclusion and disadvantage.
I led a team of specialist suicide-prevention workers as part of an NHS-commissioned rapid response for A&E attendees during the COVID-19 pandemic, 2020–2021.
I’ve since co-developed a new NHS-commissioned suicide-bereavement service, where I continue to work as a senior specialist practitioner – directly supporting the bereaved and collaborating with professionals and organisations to improve service standards.
