Anna Parkinson-Bates

I am a trainee humanistic and integrative Counsellor, based in Bradford-On-Avon, and I am in my final year at the Bath Centre for Psychotherapy and Counselling. As a student member of the BACP, I abide by their code of ethics.

​As part of my training I have been a volunteer student counsellor at Help Counselling Services in Trowbridge for over two years.

​Before beginning my training I worked in the fashion industry for over 20 years, designing for well known High St. companies as well as running my own business.

​​My training is integrative, meaning I draw from multiple therapeutic approaches and can tailor sessions to your individual needs. In our work together, you will find a deep, empathic understanding of your unique lived experience and challenges. I believe that the relationship between therapist and client is vital, so that you feel able to be fully transparent, explore your feelings and speak openly. Working together we will explore how your past experiences may be impacting your feelings and current needs, helping you notice how you relate to yourself and others. ​​
