Anna Fletcher

Hello, I’m Anna, I work with adults on an individual basis in Clifton, Bristol. I offer both long and short term counselling. In addition to my private practice, I have over 2 years experience working with a wide variety of clients within a GP surgery.

 I understand that life can seem difficult at times and it can be hard to put into words what is troubling you. When we feel sad, low or anxious, reaching out for help can seem a daunting prospect. Whether you find yourself feeling overwhelmed and at a crossroads in life or you just want to understand yourself better, I can support you.  

I offer a compassionate, warm, non-judgmental space where you can openly share whatever is worrying you. To be truly heard by another can be deeply healing and liberating. Together we can reflect on your situation and begin to explore the positive changes you could make in order to move forward in your life.

I am in the final stages of my level 6 diploma in humanistic and integrative counselling. This means I use a variety of therapeutic techniques tailored to you, the individual client.

Training and qualifications

• Currently in the final year of 3 studying for a Diploma in Humanistic and Integrative Counselling at Bath Centre for Psychotherapy and Counselling (BCPC)

• Foundation Certificate in Counselling and Psychotherapy (BCPC)

• PGCE specialising in Early Years and Languages at Bath Spa University
• BA hons in Italian Language and Literature University College London

 Experience

• Over 20 years experience teaching languages to both adults and children in the UK and overseas
• Working within the education sector with a focus on young children and families in Bristol and North Somerset

I am a student member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), and work within their ethical framework.
