The Workshops/CPD Courses listed below are open to BCPC Students, Members as well as non-BCPC members and have no entry requirements.

 

Hidden Essentials of Connection

One-day workshop with Sue Glasser

An opportunity to explore the unspoken, hidden elements of self/other dynamics via two inter-related approaches: (1) an introduction to Relational Gestalt Shame and Belonging Theory; and (2) working with physicality via somatic awareness and creative movement.

Building your Ideal Private Practice

One-day workshop with Jude Higgins

In this workshop, Jude will show you how to harness your skills and draw on all the resources that will build your practice. She will help you banish your doubts about success, focus your energy, and generally feel encouraged.

General Information:

The CPD programme is designed to stimulate and enrich the minds of students in training, and those with a keen interest in the areas of psychotherapy and counselling.

The courses are open to non-BCPC members and have no entry requirements, the only exception being the Study Courses.

For workshops / CPD with no entry requirements, you can download the application form, fill it in and send to the office for the attention of the Administrator. To reserve a place on a course, full payment must be made with your application.

If you wish to cancel your place less than a month before the start of the event, no refund will be payable (otherwise a full refund will be given). Courses may be cancelled if numbers are insufficient.

 

Other Courses

Certificate in Supervision

This supervision training is put on by The Centre for Supervision and Team Development (CSTD) in collaboration with BCPC and is aimed at people within the helping professions – particularly counsellors and psychotherapists.

The certificate involves 4 three-day modules held in three venues – Bath, London and Findhorn. The modules may be undertaken in one or more of the venues and can be taken over a flexible time period. In addition 10 supervisions on supervision and 3 tutorials need to be completed before the certificate is awarded.
