Membership

Joining us as a member offers the opportunity to join a community of like-minded individuals and to take part in our programme of events. Members receive several benefits including the opportunity to attend our Annual Conference, reduced fees on many of our CPD courses and workshops, mailings regarding selected events and opportunities, and the ability to advertise round the membership for a reduced fee.

In addition, members can access the members-only area of the website, where they can participate in the online community via conversation forums, the online newsletter, advertising in the classifieds, viewing entries in the online Directory and access various resources.

Membership Definitions

Graduate (psychotherapy) – All graduates of BCPC's Professional Training in Psychotherapy or other psychotherapists who have been accredited by BCPC

Graduate (counselling) – All graduates of BCPC's Professional Training in Counselling or other counsellors who have been accredited by BCPC

Student – All students who are on BCPC's Foundation and Professional Training Courses, including those who are between stages

Staff – All current teaching staff on BCPC's Foundation and Professional Training Courses

Emeritus – Open by invitation of the committee in recognition of the exceptional service they have given BCPC and/or BCPCA. They can be either associates or full members

Affiliate – Open by invitation of the committee to graduates of other training organisationsFriend – Open by invitation of the committee to other individuals who wish to be associated with BCPCA

Retired – Open by invitation of the committee to graduate members who have retired from practice
