Concerns & Complaints

All BCPC trainees and graduates work to strict ethical principles and codes of practice. These documents can be found here.

Any member of the public wishing to discuss a concern about a professional member of BCPC may initially address their concerns to ethics@bcpc.org.uk.

All BCPC trainees and graduates work to strict Ethical Principles and Codes of Ethics. Any member of the public wishing to view these can visit the About Us page and download a pdf. You can find the complaints procedure here.

Any member of the public wishing to discuss a concern about a professional member of BCPC may initially address their concerns to ethics@bcpc.org.uk. Alternatively if you wish to make a complaint please contact the relevant Professional bodies - UKCP and BACP. Any complaints about student practitioners should be addressed to the Director in the first instance, Rhianwen Gilson  at: rhianwengilson@bcpc.org.uk

A student with a complaint about BCPC's training or trainers should follow the procedure set out in the relevant training Handbook.
 
General complaints by members of the public not relating to the professional conduct of one of our members or by students complaining about something other than their professional training, should in the first instance be sent in writing for the attention of the Director at BCPC, 1 Trim Bridge, Bath, BA1 1HD or by email to rhianwengilson@bcpc.org.uk
