Richard Mojel (Chair)

Richard has extensive executive-level experience leading large business operations in both the public and private sectors. His recent roles have been as Managing Director of leading UK organisations in the education field. Richard also has several years experience as a successful independent management consultant working primarily with central Government in New Zealand. Richard's board experience includes three years in an Uk-based SME, five years as a director of Visa New Zealand, and a term as chairman of a school board. Richard is a Fellow of the Institute of Leadership and Management and a Member of the Institute of Directors. He lives in Bristol with his wife Evelyn who is currently on the BCPC Psychotherapy programme.

Amanda Wylie

Amanda is a business coach and personal development trainer. She has had a successful 16 year career in the NHS, MoD and latterly the Department of Health, and has a proven track record for delivering results in fast moving environments.  She is the founder of Activate! Executive Coaching & Development, which was established in 2006.  In addition to her professional qualifications, she has a Diploma in Coaching, accredited by the Institute of Leadership & Management and recognised by the European Mentoring & Coaching Council.  She is also a member of the Institute of Leadership & Management (ILM), an accredited coach for the Clore Leadership Programme for the Performing Arts, and an MBTI® Practitioner.

Jane Gajraj 

Jane gained a BSc (Hons) in Psychology from University College London in 1980 and graduated from BCPC in July 2009 with a diploma in counselling. Since September 2005, Jane has worked for NAPAC (National Association for People Abused in Childhood), as a support line volunteer and, since 2009, as a supervisor for support line volunteers. In 2011, Jane left the Student Counselling service at Exeter University, after four years as an Honorary and locum counsellor, to work as a trainer for NAPAC and in private practice from her home in Sherborne, Dorset. With her husband, a doctor, she is a Director of the Melbury Clinic Ltd and a partner of The VeinCare Centre LLP.

Lee Coombes

Lee graduated in November 2009 with a diploma in psychotherapy from BCPC and is registered with UKCP. He is an English literature graduate from London University and he also gained an MA in Creative Writing from Bath Spa University. He is a published writer and playwright as well as a teacher and performer. Before starting his psychotherapy training Lee trained in harm reduction with BADAS (Bath Area Drugs Advisory Service) and worked as a drugs worker seconded to the Wiltshire Probation Service where he facilitated groups, liaised with the criminal justice and medical systems, and later worked in Clouds House as a counsellor, NHS Inclusion Drugs Services in Swindon and Turning Point in Somerset. Lee now works for the BCPC Asylum Seeker & Refugee Project, and works with individuals, couples and groups.

Judy Ryde

Judy Ryde, PhD is a freelance psychotherapist, supervisor and trainer of 30 years’ experience. She was a co-founder of BCPC and taught on all stages of the training before retiring from this work in 2005. She is now a trustee of BCPC and sits on various other committees. Her work as a supervision trainer across the helping professions continues within the Centre for Supervision and Team Development. Judy also supervises the BCPC Trauma Foundation which provides counselling and psychotherapy for asylum seekers and refugees, and was a co-founder of Psychotherapists and Counsellors for Social Responsibility. She is also author of the book, ‘Being White in the Helping Professions: Developing Effective Intercultural Awareness’.
